Commemorative Luncheon of the Spanish Orders History Prize in Honor of Carla Rahn

The prestigious Spanish Orders History Prize held a luncheon on the occasion of the United States’ Independence Day, paying tribute to the distinguished historian Carla Rahn, honored as the VI Laureate of the Spanish Orders History Prize. The event took place at the elegant Nuevo Club Madrid and was attended by renowned academics, historians, and cultural figures.

During the luncheon, Don Pedro de Borbón Dos Sicilias y de Orleans, Duke of Calabria, delivered heartfelt remarks to the attendees, highlighting the importance of the historical ties between Spain and the United States.

The Duke also praised Carla Rahn for her brilliant academic career and her significant research on maritime history and the Age of Discovery.

The luncheon served as a platform for the exchange of ideas and reflections on the shared history between Spain and the United States, as well as to celebrate the academic excellence and achievements of Carla Rahn.
