Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of Nazca Capital, the leading mid market private equity firm in Spain. Nazca Capital has invested close to €1bn in the last 16 years in medium size family owned companies in Spain with the objective of growing them nationally and internationally.
He has strong knowledge in a wide range of sectors, including agribusiness, healthcare and business services. He has been Chairman of the Board or Board Member in a number of companies including Agromillora, Instituto Madrileño de Oncología, Gestair, Dibaq, Food Box, etc…
Prior to founding Nazca in 2001, Alvaro was managing Director and responsible for investment banking on Deutsche Bank in Spain. Previously, he worked in the Leveraged Buy Out and Corporate Finance Team of Bankers Trust and as auditor in KPMG. Holds a degree on Economics from Madrid University and MBA from North Carolina University.
Member of the Orden de Santiago.
